A uniqueue European opportunity to work together on specific EU Funds topics!
This Symposium represents a unique opportunity to work together on EU Funds. Experts from all over Europe, who are involved in EU Funds policy, either on a national, regional or European level, meet there, to discuss crucial topics and to learn from other Member State´s experience.
The International Annual Symposium is designed to enable representatives from administrative authorities to adopt the new regulations of the EU Funds and to implement and monitor their programmes efficiently. Moreover, it provides participants with guidance in choosing and implementing programmes and projects compliant to the Commission’s expectations.
The International Annual Symposium is a three-day event. After key note interventions by prominent representatives of the European Commission and the Committee of the Regions the symposium will be split into four different panels. You can choose on four funds in order to have the opportunity to work and discuss intensively in
- Panel 1: ERDF or
- Panel 2: ESF or
- Panel 3: EAFRD or
- Panel 4: EFF
Experts from the corresponding Directorate Generals will present an overview on new regulations and answer your questions. Delegates from past events asked us to focus 2008 on operational programmes and different national approaches. Therefore, the Commission´s presentations are followed by case studies on National Strategic Plans, implementation of Operational Programmes and best practices from old and new Member States as well as from federal and centralistic states. Additionally, regional auditors and experts from the European Court of Auditors give practical advice from their point of view.
All panels are open to intensive discussion and Question & Answers (Q&A) sessions. Our methodology is composed out of presentations, dialogue, case studies, practical examples, field reports, discussions, Q&A as well as specific workshop sessions on day three.
