Iain Derrick is currently employed as Europe and International Manager with One NorthEast, the Regional Development Agency for the North East of England. He previously spent four years in Brussels as Director of East Midlands Regional Brussels Office and as Head of Brussels Office of Public Affairs consultancy, Sovereign Strategy. Prior to this he worked on a range of European and economic development issues in the UK for East Midlands Development Agency, ECOTEC Research and Consulting and in the Local Authority sector in England. Iain has a first degree in Economics and Politics and a Masters in European Union Studies
